Haddo Snow Ball

Our Formal Hamper Ball will be on Saturday 6th January 2024, doors open 7:00 pm for a prompt 7:30 pm start.

The 2023 Ball on January 7th 2023 was a wee bit different, but our consultation with attendees indicated it was very enjoyable.   We have continued to pay attention to your feedback and will make some further minor improvements.   This year we will not run a bar but instead ask you to bring your own drinks and glasses.  We will have all the seating on the dance floor and do away with tables on the stage.  Our costs continue to rise and reluctantly we have to increase the ticket price to £25 per person.

We  have booked the hall and the band for a similar event on the 11th of January 2025.

Cost 

The cost of tickets will be £25.00. 

In mid October existing customers will be sent a link where they can purchase tickets for their group.  A week later tickets will be made available to the public on a first come basis.  Ticket sales will close either when we reach 120 tickets sold or on 17th December, whichever comes first.   Customers purchasing tickets during October will be entered in an "Early Bird" raffle which will be drawn on the night.  So book early!  

Cancellations made before 17th December will be refunded.  Thereafter I am sorry they will not.

Bring your own hamper 

Bring your own food, drinks, glasses, dishes and cutlery. Tables will be set for you with napkins.  

Jugs of hot water and of cold water will be provided for your tea, coffee etc.

Timings

Timings will be similar to previous events starting at 7.00 for a 7.30 prompt start. Food will be eaten between 7.30pm and 8.45pm and dancing will commence promptly at 8.45 with a short interval finishing around 12.30.

Bar

There will be no bar.

Covid 19 Restrictions

We will of course comply with all (or any) of the restrictions in force at the time of the event.  We will tell you exactly what will apply immediately before you attend and at the start of the evening. 

Fundraiser

The event is a fundraiser for the Haddo House Choral and Operatic Society (HHCOS).

There will be a raffle.  Tickets will be sold £5 for a 5 strip bundle.
